14kt Gold Filled - 14kt gold filled is a federally regulated amount of 14kt gold (5%) bonded to a base metal, usually brass. It is the next best thing to solid 14kt gold. Gold Filled has at least 10 times more gold content than gold tone or gold plate, which only lasts days or weeks. It has no nickel in it and is considered hypoallergenic. It will not tarnish or discolor your skin. We use 14kt gold filled wire, beads and most of our findings.

Argentium Silver - Argentium Silver is like traditional sterling and is never less than 93% silver. Argentium silver costs more than sterling because it is made with a touch of germanium, which strongly inhibits tarnish. This means it rarely needs polishing. We use argentium silver for our wire, beads and most of our findings.

Sterling Silver - is an alloy of 92.5% silver, and 7.5% copper. The copper is used as a hardener because pure silver is too soft for jewelry applications. Sterling Silver is the standard for fine jewelry and is the whitest of all metals. It is considered hypoallergenic. It may discolor on some people with high acidic levels but can always be re-polished. We use sterling silver, in only some of our findings if it is not available in argentium silver.

Fiber Optic Beads - Also known as "Cat's Eye Bead". They are man-made quartz fibers (the same material used in fiber optic telephone technology) that are fused together and machine-cut into shimmering beads.
